WHAT TO EXPECT

PI Services can assist you in many different investigation needs. Whether it be for corporate or domestic needs, the investigation will be conducted in the same professional, thorough, complete, confidential and ethical manner. The integrity of an investigation needs to remain intact in order for the results to be able to withstand challenges. An investigation not conducted with the above as a guide may result in inaccurate and questionable findings. Neither of which is acceptable. Using the above as a guide to investigations came from my career as a Special Agent with the FBI. After serving in the FBI for 32 years, in 2009 I established PI Services, LLC.

Besides conventional types of investigations, PI Services offers Technical Surveilance CounterMeasures inspections. During my tenure with the FBI, I chose to broaden my skills and ventured into a technical position. I became a Technically Trained Agent and eventually the Technical Advisor for the Kansas City Division. These positions gave me the responsibility of conducting court ordered wiretaps, installation of covert cameras and microphones in offices, residences and vehicles as well as installation of tracking devises on vehicles. The subjects of the court ordered installations were not only criminal, but also intelligence officers “spies” from foreign lands. The above quote of former Director Mueller was stated in regards to cyber security, but I believe it can be applied to eavesdropping as well.  Not only did I install this equipment, which sometimes are referred to as “bugs”, but I had to periodically conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections of the Bureau’s offices to ensure they weren’t “bugged” by criminal or foreign counter intelligence communities. Often times this procedure is referred to as a “sweep or bug sweep”. This type of inspection or examination is two pronged: One is conducted with equipment that detects radio frequencies, video and infrared transmissions and the other is an actual physical search. This is where PI Services has a huge advantage over others that offer this service. If you have never installed what you’re looking for you may not know where to look. This service is not just limited to corporations, but is conducted in residences as well. Wherever intellectual property, strategies, marketing ideas or any discussions that are intended to be kept private are discussed, is a potential target area for those that want to know what you know.
